Festival of the Lost is an event that has happened three other times across Destiny 2 and the original game, so this year will be its fourth iteration. It has always involved earning and wearing masks albeit in differing ways each event. Ahead of an official announcement from Bungie, some digging and observations from some keen-eyed fans give a pretty clear hint as to what players will be doing during Festival of the Lost this time around....

This is all according to Joe Blackburn, raid team lead at Destiny. A user on Twitter recently reached out to Blackburn, asking if Raid Lairs would continue to be a part of Destiny 2. He felt that the community saw them serving little purpose, as they had little to no ties to the main story. Blackburn responded, confirming Raid Lairs would indeed continue to be a part of the game....

The Vault of Glass is a fan-favorite Raid because of its mysterious nature, and many players have spent years trying to find any secrets. The Destiny 2 version is almost identical to the original in terms of appearance, with players still opening the vault in the Waking Ruins on Venus. Since the Raid’s release in Destiny 2, players have been trying to complete the encounters in weird and challenging ways. It also recently got an even harder Master difficulty mode which rewards players with a Timelost weapon variant. However, going in with the proper knowledge on what to do will make the ride significantly smoother for first-time players. Step 1: Head to Harbinger’s Seclude To access the Ascendant Challenge, players must head to the zone known as Harbinger’s Seclude, which is in the northern part of Rheasilivia. Head through several hallways before accessing a balcony with a giant statue covered in Taken “goo.” Upon reaching the statue pop a Tincture of Queensfoil and ascend the footholds to the top. There should be a portal to the Ascendant Plane and the challenge there....

However, since this is a rare occurrence, it’s important that Destiny 2 players maximize their time wisely. Getting a Nightfall Exclusive reward is not easy, but Bungie has made it slightly easier thanks to deterministic RNG (if the item doesn’t drop, then the odds on the next drop increase). But even so, there are some helpful tricks to help players with their Braytech Osprey farming. The most important thing to do is to surpass the 100,000 score in the Strange Terrain Nightfall Strike....

On Tuesday, Columbus voters saw four Democrats elected to City Council seats, with only three Republican incumbents claiming re-election victory. Democrats aiming to hold onto control of the Senate have not focused substantial attention on Iowa, viewing Grassley, 89, the longest-serving Republican in the Senate who has easily defeated Democratic challengers in the past, as well-positioned to win reelection. However, a Des Moines Register poll published on Saturday found Grassley leading Franken, 64, by only 3 percentage points. The poll, conducted by Selzer & Co from October 9 to 11, found Grassley winning 46 percent of likely voters....
