As a reminder, Grandmaster was added to the game on April 21 and serves as the highest difficulty for Nightfall strikes, designed to provide players with the most brutal test of skill and team coordination yet outside of Destiny 2’s raids. Ironically, though, it turns out a particular design quirk of the Warden of Nothing strike’s final area can be utilized to reduce that brutal test into a complete cakewalk for even solo players....

One of Petra’s daily bounties is called Challenge: The Shattered and tasks players with finding for former Warlock, Toland, a character that is briefly met through voice-over towards the final mission in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Unfortunately, the rest of the challenge card doesn’t offer much information, only providing a clue that the lost Guardian is somewhere within the Ascendant Plane. Thankfully, that’s more than enough information as the only time players can enter that realm is during the weekly Ascendant Challenge....

While many fans have no doubt pulled out their old copies of Deltarune to refresh themselves on the goings-on, not everyone has that luxury. As Deltarune was designed with a strong element of mystery, players may want a few more hints as to the true nature of its meta-plot. The whole cast is also decidedly charming, which means that fans want to see their stories continue as well. Demi Burnett was dating Derek Peth on the current season of the Bachelor spinoff. But on Tuesday her girlfriend, Kristian Haggerty, arrived in Paradise. Burnett and Haggerty have been in a non-exclusive relationship since after Burnett appeared on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor in January 2019. Haggerty’s arrival marked the first same-sex relationship on any Bachelor show, and was met with support by participants on the show. Burnett and Haggerty are expected to stay on the show as an official couple, with neither likely to be sent home—each woman can ensure the other stays by offering a rose at each ceremony....

On Friday, Democratic Colorado Governor Jared Polis tweeted his support for Justin Amash, who left the Republican Party in 2019 and is now affiliated with the Libertarian Party. Amash, of Michigan, was the first Republican to openly support impeaching then-President Donald Trump. Amash tweeted Friday that if he were named House speaker, he would push for single-issue bills; let committees work through bills without interference; ensure rules are followed, not regularly suspended/waived/ignored; allow amendments from the floor; give members adequate time to review bills; and ask for recorded votes....

Americans need to understand that despite pro-statehood supporters claiming Puerto Ricans are patriotic American citizens and desiring equality with their fellow Americans, Puerto Ricans are actually a distinct Spanish-speaking Latin American and Caribbean nation with its own national identity and history that has fought and resisted all efforts to impose American assimilation and English-only policies. The vast majority of Puerto Ricans cherish their national identity and unique culture; refer to Puerto Rico as their país and nación (country/nation); speak only Spanish; do not celebrate the Fourth of July; actively resist assimilation and American colonial settler gentrification; and patriotically cheer and support the Puerto Rico National Olympic Team over Team USA....

Former President Ronald Reagan was 77 years old at the end of his term in 1989, making Biden the oldest president ever. His age has led to speculation that he may choose not to run for a second term in 2024, despite the fact he’s said he expects to run again. Biden will be 81 years old at the time of the next presidential election, and if he doesn’t run, it might seem that Vice President Kamala Harris is an obvious choice for the Democratic nomination....

While gay and lesbian voters have largely been a reliable voting bloc for Democrats at least since the ’80s, some activists say their community is taken for granted by the party. Privately, political strategists say candidates walk a fine line between being progressive on gay issues and possibly alienating some conservative voters, including some Democrats. The president’s adversaries continue to pursue his early removal from power with impeachment now their focus after Vice President Mike Pence firmly rejected invoking the 25th Amendment, prior to lawmakers voting to request he do so. While the Democrat-majority House is set to impeach Trump, including with the support of some Republicans, it is less clear that the GOP-majority Senate would then vote to convict. The support of at least two-thirds of Senators is needed for a conviction....

As a predecessor to the Dark Souls franchise, it’s clear that Demon’s Souls was still exploring certain concepts. One example of this is the variety in terms of catalysts. In Dark Souls 3, players have 17 different options for tools they can use to cast spells, but in Demon’s Souls, there are only four available. While the lack of options may be disappointing to those coming over from Dark Souls, it does allow for each catalyst to be made different from the others, so there really isn’t a best option overall....

Over on Twitter, Lance McDonald tweeted out that he has it on good authority that Bluepoint Games, the developers of the Demon’s Souls remake, added numerous new items to the game that have yet to be discovered. McDonald isn’t clear on whether these items can be obtained by the player in, perhaps, obtuse ways, or if they are only discoverable in the game data. He says he would obtain the items if he knew how, but just is certain they are at least in the game data....

Indiana on Friday became the first state to pass an abortion ban since the overturning of Roe v. Wade despite strong opposition from Democrats and some Republicans. The bill—which mandates a total ban on abortion with exceptions for rape, incest or when the pregnant person’s life is in danger—was passed by a vote of 62-38 in the state House. No Democrats voted in favor of the ban. Nine Republicans also opposed the bill, arguing that it was either too restrictive or not restrictive enough....
