Destiny 2 clans of deaf players have been able to find workarounds to this problem. Over the past week, multiple groups of deaf players have revealed exactly how they make the game’s limited communication features work for them. All-deaf clan DESTINYERRORALWAYSFAMOUS [DEAF] has been raiding since the first Destiny, beating Oryx after three months of trying. But they have been able to conquer Emperor Calus in a much shorter amount of time, using an app called Glide to help them communicate what they need to do to take the boss down....

The goal of Armor 2.0 was to give players more agency in customizing their armor pieces to complement their playstyle and help them play their own way. This control comes in the form of armor mods, which affect a piece of armor’s stats. It is important to note that this only applies to armor from Year 3 (the Shadowkeep expansion) and onwards; older gear pieces will have to be earned again to take full advantage of armor stats and modification....

Called the Science and Transparency Over Politics (STOP) Act, the bill, if passed, would result in a new task force charged with investigating “any political interference with decisions made by scientific agencies of the Department of Health and Human Services in connection with the pandemic response,” according to a press release from the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. The proposal, unveiled Thursday, would invest hundreds of billions of dollars over the next half-decade into initiatives that Democrats said would properly address racial inequalities that have been exacerbated by the pandemic, including childcare, jobs, mental and primary care, infrastructure, tax credits for renters, homeowners and low-income housing, and Medicaid expansion....

Danish officials said the change in restrictions is because of a high vaccination rate, and COVID-19 is no longer putting a strain on the health care system, even though the Omicron variant is still surging, the Associated Press reported.
