On Monday’s edition of ESPN’s “NFL Live,” analyst Dan Orlovsky suggested that Chicago should go “all in” to complete a trade with the Texans for Watson. Following that up, reporter Jeff Darlington explained that the Bears might be in enough of a desperate state at quarterback to make such a move. The Bears had been mentioned as early suitors for Watson with Trubisky set to become a free agent who they won’t try to re-sign....

According to Game Informer’s hands-on time with the game, the progression system in Destiny: Rise of Iron will look very familiar to regular players. Based on the publication’s casual glance it appears that the progression system added with the April Update, which takes into account a player’s light level and drops items within a 5-level gap, will return. Bungie said as much when teasing Rise of Iron, but now it is official....

One of the most exciting bits of content added with House of Wolves is the Prison of Elders, a co-operative challenge similar to Horde mode in Gears of War or Firefight from the Halo series. Basically, you and two friends are faced with waves of enemies, with the twist here being that a good showing will snag some loot as a reward. Completing the Prison of Elders will grant Guardians access to a treasure room worthy of Scrooge McDuck himself, with gold covering much of the floor and chests waiting to be opened....

After celebrating Bungie Day on July 7 by announcing rewards for Destiny veterans, Bungie provided fans with even more information on the game’s next expansion pack, The Taken King. With each update, The Taken King’s size and scope continues to grow, and while the expansion is still a couple of months off, fans are eagerly waiting for more details from the developer. After previously announcing VIP rewards and item stat boosts, Bungie’s weekly update features Destiny’s creative director, Luke Smith, talking about some of the changes The Taken King is making to Destiny’s quest and bounty systems....

However, the good feeling about Destiny coming out of E3 was marred somewhat by the ongoing argument of content vs. pricing. A Eurogamer interview with creative director Luke Smith sparked debate throughout the game’s community as to whether The Taken King would justify its $40/£40 pricetag. Further bad feelings started to circulate when it became clear that veteran players would have to rebuy something that they already own if they wanted to claim the exclusive content that was being included in the expansion....

Thankfully, a patch released on Thursday should clear everything up and in a few hours time Trials of Osiris will return once again. However, if Trials is not live by 10am PT, then something is still wrong with Destiny and Bungie is shaking their heads trying to fix it. Luckily, any Destiny-related server or damage problems are not stopping our regular visit from Xur, who is back in the Tower once again....

Destiny 2’s Season 15 will feature three Unstoppable mods, two Overload mods, and likely a single Anti-Barrier mod. The Unstoppable ones include fusion and linear fusion rifles, sidearms, and pulse rifles; the Overload mods are for bows and swords, with the second being unconfirmed for now; and the Anti-Barrier mod is for auto rifles. This means there will be several good weapons to use next Season that were overlooked in the current one because of how different the meta was, and now is a great time to farm those guns....

Smith, in the latest issue of EDGE, says that he stands behind the change to make all weapons have fixed rolls, although he admits that there’s more work to be done to make duplicate drops more meaningful. Now a little over a month into the game, many fans are feeling that fixed weapon rolls are making the game more stale, taking away the grind for the “god roll” of a certain weapon....

Bounties In an attempt to keep players from hoarding bounties in order to get a leg up in the grind to a new power level cap, Destiny 2 has put a level cap on all bounty rewards with the start of Season 6. Any bounties players are currently holding onto will be locked in to giving rewards at or under the current 650 power level cap. In some cases, the bounties will even be completely removed from players’ inventories....

It all revolves around the Reckoning game mode - more specifically, the Tier 3 version of the new mode, which was released this past Friday, March 15th. Players who have completed Tier 3 of the Reckoning have found a noticeably high drop rate for the Spare Rations hand cannon. If it does drop, it will do so at the conclusion of the final boss fight. There does not appear to be any other requirements or specific actions that players need to take in order to influence the drop rate of the Spare Rations....
