While Bungie has made no official announcement, Destiny’s Luke Smith confirmed the existence of a Challenge mode in an offhand comment first spotted by More Console. According to Smith, each of the three main boss fights in King’s Fall – Warpriest, Golgoroth, and Oryx – all have an added challenge - a special way of killing them if you will - that will unlock unique rewards and a new emblem....
That being said, despite the game’s popularity, fans have been vocal about many areas in which the game could improve. So far, it definitely seems like Bungie is listening to fans and making changes with The Taken King that may even bring back lapsed Destiny players, if implemented properly. That list of changes has now grown to encompass an often requested feature from fans, as revealed during a Twitch live-stream of The Taken King earlier today....
Unfortunately, no ammo synthesis this week, but the good news is the heavy ammo bug will soon be patched by Bungie. The developer says that a fix is making its way through testing, and should be available before the end of the month. Still, it would have been nice to stock up on heavy ammo in the mean time. Finding Xur shouldn’t be too hard for the average Destiny player; he’s in front of the big door opposite the Speaker’s quarters. Some will also recognize this as one of Xur’s very first locations, well before most of us ever could procure any of the vendor’s exotic wares. Speaking of those exotics, Xur has, for the first time, put The Last Word hand cannon on sale for all to buy....
That’s not all, however, as there are Umbral Engrams with specific drops to look for this Destiny 2 season, including world drops, specific weapon categories, and Future War Cult weapons. The most controversial of the Destiny 2 exploits found involved farming prime engrams. Essentially, players could acquire prime engrams without losing their prime attunement buff. For those that might not be familiar with how prime engrams and the prime attunement work, here’s a general overview. The Prime Attunement buff increases players’ chances of receiving a prime engram from defeating challenging or completing crucible matches. Once players get a prime engram the buff is supposed to leave (sometimes it takes multiple prime engrams for the buff to exhaust), and it returns after the next daily reset....

For those players that may be confused about exactly how to complete the Wrathborn tracked step of Destiny 2’s Cryptolith Lure quest, the process is fairly straightforward. With the Uncommon set of the Solstice armor, players will need a certain type of orbs from strikes and Solar orbs from any activity, so this farm will provide both....

The only way to climb those crucial few points from 950 to the top is through Pinnacle Weapons, rewards that can boost your Power level higher than any other. And one of the best ways to earn these new weapons is by getting over 100,000 points in the newly-enhanced Nightfall Strikes, Nightfall: The Ordeal....
One seasonal weapon in particular is drawing lots of attention. The weapon in question is none other than Tarnished Mettle, a 200 RPM (Rounds Per Minute) Scout Rifle that does Arc damage. As with certain Exotic weapons in the first Destiny, unlocking the Mida Multi-Tool requires a handful of specific steps. But before players can get their hands on it, they must complete the Destiny 2 Campaign and reach Level 20. Once that benchmark is achieved, the next step is to finish a quest called “Enhance!” on the vastly improved European Dead Zone (EDZ), given by Devrim Kay. The main emblem drops by simply completing the Nightfall on normal difficulty. But once players activate the Nightfall’s Challenge Card they can take their best shot at racking up higher scores to earn variants of that emblem. There aren’t any concrete answers yet from Bungie or the Destiny 2 community about how to unlock all the variants, but the first variant most are targeting is unlocked by passing 60,000 points, which also activates the Nightfall aura....
Flight 339 departed from Atlanta and had been set to make a scheduled landing in Seattle on Monday night before being diverted to the Mile High City due to the in-flight emergency.
