In today’s Weekly Bungie Update, the developer wanted Destiny players to know that they have already begun work on the next patch for the game. As of right now, Bungie doesn’t have anything official to announce, but they want players to know that will soon change. Like with Destiny update 1.1.1, Bungie’s plan is to slowly but surely detail their upcoming update through regularly Weekly posts. Those posts will, among other things, include interviews with the developers who are working to add new features or fix problematic bugs....

The move was not completely unexpected, because a small note made its way into the patch notes that accompanied the launch of Age of Triumph in late March, which mentioned that support had been added to Destiny for Iron Banner Mayhem Clash. For some, news of the mode coming to Iron Banner is reason for hype, while also being a source of dread for other fans. Mayhem Clash is a pretty niche mode in Destiny, with its defining quality being the fact that all ability cooldowns are greatly reduced....

This week Destiny players can find Xur in the Reef, a rare spot for the Agent of the Nine. In fact, the last time Xur showed up in the Reef, the door that he usually hides behind was glitched shut, and Bungie had to move him. Hopefully that doesn’t happen again this weekend. On the exotic armor front, Xur has the Ruin Wings gauntlets for Titans, the Impossible Machines gauntlets for Warlocks, and the Celestial Nighthawk helmet for Hunters....

Currently, there are a total of four unique dungeons spread across different locations in Destiny 2. Each of these four dungeons, while similar in length, incorporate different themes and mechanics for players to get comfortable with. The Mask of Bakris is an exotic Hunter helmet, and its perk, Light Shift, replaces the Stasis subclass Hunter Dodge ability with a longer range, faster moving Shift that partially cloaks the user during use. After Shifting, the user’s Arc weapons deal increased damage to combatants for a short time. The user also deals increased damage to all slowed or encased combatants. The damage increases from Mask of Bakris do not work in PVP....

The European Aerial Zone was featured in last year’s event too. If the EAZ’s mechanics, spawn points, and modifiers have stayed the same, players can reliably look back on Destiny 2’s last Solstice to prepare themselves for this iteration of the event. On Saturday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced a plan to expedite deportation flights following reports that over 14,000 migrants – primarily from Haiti – have assembled under a bridge in the small border city of Del Rio, Texas. DHS is also sending 400 border patrol agents to the area to help process migrants....
