For the uninitiated, Petra’s Run is activated by the Thirteenth Wish on the Wall of Wishes. It essentially combines Flawless Raider and Extinguish from the original Destiny and is necessary to unlock the Rivensbane title. Basically, if any fireteam member dies during Petra’s Run, they have to begin again all the way at the start. Of course, for most of those attempting this rather difficult challenge, the standard fireteam is the best bet due to the number of enemies that have to be faced....

In Destiny 2’s new trailer, the cinematic introduction for Gambit mode that was revealed this past week is once again shown. This is presumably the man that runs the Gambit mode, who some suspect is related to the Daito corporation due to his jade token. The token is assumed to represent the random enemy that players will face off against in this round of Gambit. After the introduction, the gameplay immediately kicks into motion....

After attending the Destiny 2 Creator Summit last week, Gigz got plenty of hands-on time with this new system. The ranking system starts everyone at the Guardian level and sets them on a path to the final level, called Legend. The full Destiny 2 Crucible ranks are: Guardian Brave Heroic Fabled Mythic Legend For each new rank earned, players receive a reward package which can include items like masterwork cores, engrams, and tokens....

Before getting to the method, Destiny 2 players must have a clan level of 4 or above this season for the challenge to appear. Pick it up from Hawthorne at the Tower before jumping into the Crown of Sorrows raid. Obviously, raid teams will need to progress through the raid until reaching the Gahlran’s Deception encounter. Once there, the requirement of the challenge is to break the shield of Gahlran’s Deception five times in a single damage phase....

Bungie delivered the instructions as promised yesterday, but the required Clan management functionality didn’t go live until today. That means it’s time for Clans to prepare for Destiny 2. Step 1: Update Your Clan Info First things first, it’s important to understand the current state of Clans. The Bungie.net website currently allows anyone to make a Group - a community of people with Bungie.net accounts. Clans in Destiny are not Groups, but they are built on the same technology and are capped at 100 players per platform (Xbox and PlayStation)....

At the core of Season of Dawn is the new currency, Polarized Fractaline, which is required to buy weapons and mods. Due to some vague reason involving the space-time continuum, the currency will expire at the end of the season. Because of this, players have a limited time to gather, and spend, as much as they can. According to Auchenpaugh, not all of the gear from Escalation Protocol drops at end-game levels, only the armor pieces do. The weapons will drop up to the soft cap for the expansion, power level 340, but there is a good reason for this, as players can grind for weapons indefinitely, while the armor pieces are a limited drop. Once per character, players will be able to acquire a key that is charged through Warmind activities that will unlock the chest that drops after the wave seven boss....

Since Season 17, Bungie has added titles to each holiday event in the game. Excluding the Reveler title, the four holiday events that have titles are Guardian Games, Solstice, Festival of the Lost, and the Dawning. The Dawning title is Star Baker, and here is how players can obtain it for themselves. The Mercury public event also has a heroic version, but just like the Heroic Public Events in the base Destiny 2 game, Curse of Osiris DLC players will have to go out of their way to activate it. As explained in the video below by Destiny 2 YouTuber Esoterickk, after players have headed to one of the islands to shut down the first warp gate, several floating Vex objects will spawn....

Beginning in November, unvaccinated employees enrolled in Delta’s health care plan will face a $200 monthly surcharge, which the airline says is “necessary to address the financial risk the decision to not vaccinate is creating for our company.” Unlike other companies, including United Airlines, Delta has chosen not to mandate vaccines for employees. Delta said the $200 fine was calculated based on the average hospital stay for COVID-19 patients, which has cost the company $40,000 per employee....

The original American Rescue Act, as passed by the House, included $400 in additional weekly payments to unemployed people through August. Republican Ohio Senator Rob Portman countered with an offer of $300 payments through July 18.
