This week, Destiny players can find Xur in the North wing of the Tower, right across from The Speaker’s quarters. Head to the left after spawning in, follow the stairs to the right and down a bit, and Xur should be on the right hand side next to a very large, door-like wall. Be careful, though, there are some players trying to trick players by pretending to be Xur with the Festival of the Lost mask.

If you found the right guy, then you should see a set of Titan and Hunter helmets, as well as the new Taken King gauntlets for Warlocks. Both the Helm of Inmost Light and Celestial Nighthawk are decent options as far as exotic helmets go, but we’d favor the Nighthawk for its 6x damage Golden Gun ability. For example, fireteams who are having trouble staggering Oryx on Hard mode may want to throw one of these helmets on and take advantage of the concentrated damage. Or they can follow our easy Oryx Hard mode guide, which ever works.

For Warlocks, Xur has the Impossible Machines gauntlets, which are the perfect PvP option for Stormcaller players. Offering Landfall for free, the Impossible Machines help turn Warlocks into Emperor Palpatine-like wrecking balls, moving around the Crucible maps and leaving destruction in their wake.

The good news is if you were hoping for a helmet, there’s still a shot at one - and a 310 one at that - with the exotic helmet engram. From The Stag to the Helm of Saint-14 to the Graviton Forgeit, there are some solid exotic helmets to be had, so if you’re in the market for one we’d recommend putting down some Strange Coins.

For a full rundown of Xur’s items and prices see the list below:

Helm of Inmost Light (Titan Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins Celestial Nighthawk (Hunter Helmet) – 13 Strange Coins Impossible Machines (Warlock Gauntlets) – 13 Strange Coins Exotic Helmet Engram - 19 Strange Coins Legacy Primary Engram – 31  Strange Coins Three of Coins – 7 Strange Coins

Overall, not a terrible week for Xur but not a great one either. We’d bet that more people will be spending their money on the engram, but that’s not uncommon these days. With the new light level cap of 320, most players are only using Xur to grab exotics they don’t already have.

What exotic armor and weapons do you hope Xur has for sale next weekend? Let us know in the comments below!
