How to Grind Elemental Orbs in Solstice of Heroes
This method is simple and straightforward, as Destiny 2 players will just need to head to the Shattered Throne Thrall Room. Once there, players will want to activate their Solar empowerment and leave the rest to the thralls who will endlessly charge the player, dying without so much as dealing a little damage to the player. Players can then go AFK or turn their attention elsewhere for a few minutes.
Destiny 2 players will generate roughly 30 orbs every 13-14 seconds with this method, which makes Solar empowerment infinite, and the end result is amassing 1500 orbs in less than 11 minutes. One reason that many Destiny 2 players will want to collect these orbs and upgrade their armor is that the Solstice of Heroes armor will be the first to utilize the new 2.0 system when it launches in October.

More about the Armor 2.0 system is currently set to be learned in a livestream on August 14, where Bungie will customize a Titan, Hunter, and Warlock under this system, as well as showing off how artifacts and ornaments work. Hopefully, this stream will answer various questions that linger in the Destiny 2 community, but prior to Shadowkeeps’ launch, many still need to complete this Solstice of Heroes grind. The aforementioned method can be seen in action in the video below.
Another aspect of Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes grind is the collection of Solstice Packages via chests in the EAZ, so for those working on that, here’s a map highlights where every chest in the EAZ is located.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with a Stadia version currently in development.
