Destiny 2 players will also need to need to head into Gambit to get Guardian kills and hunt down Champions in various activities to stun them. Luckily there are no challenges that force players to complete extremely difficult activities, such as Grandmaster Nightfall Strikes, this week.

Here are the five seasonal challenges for week nine in Destiny 2:

Convex Convergence:

For this challenge, players need to simply focus one Umbral Engram into a Tier 3 Umbral Engram. Players need to make sure they have one Umbral Engram in their inventory and at least five Hammer Charges on their Hammer of Proving.

Players then need to head to the Prismatic Recaster in the H.E.L.M and chose a focused Umbral Engram from the bottom row of focusing options. If players have already focused a Tier 3 engram at some point in Season of the Chosen, they will already have this challenge completed.

Suited For Combat:

This challenge tasks Destiny 2 players with getting 400 kills while wearing a complete set of armor, with Guardian kills awarding bonus progress. The easiest way to complete this challenge is for players to equip the full set of Praefectus Season Pass armor, or even Season Pass armor from a previous season, and run Battlegrounds or Strike missions.

Dire Portents:

For this challenge, players need to complete the Presage exotic mission for the Dead Man’s Tale Exotic Scout Rifle three times. Players can complete it on Normal difficulty or Master difficulty.

…And Fell The Giant:

This challenge requires players to stun 50 Champion enemies – depending on the type, this could be staggering, piercing, or disrupting a Champion. It is worth noting that stunning the same Champion repeatedly does progress for the challenge, so players could stun one Champion 50 times to easily finish this objective.

Champions are most easily found in Nightfall: The Ordeal Strikes on Hero difficulty or higher, Battlegrounds missions, and Legend and Master Lost Sectors.

Feels Good To Be Bad:

Players need to defeat Guardians in Gambit to complete this challenge. Players get 5% of progress for this objective when they kill an enemy Invader, but get 10% when they kill enemy Guardians as an Invader. If players are confident in their invading abilities, then invading is definitely the easiest way for players to complete the challenge. Otherwise, players should always be aware of enemy Invaders so that they can find and kill them as quickly as possible.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light and the new Season of the Chosen are available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
