The Iron Banner will run from now until March 31’s weekly reset, but Destiny 2 players do not have to complete this all at once. There will be more events throughout this season that give players the chance to score this armor and bow, which will likely be beneficial to some. As with most major Destiny 2 quests, this is by no means a walk in the park

Cast in Iron Step 1: Super Smelting
3 Super Kills 30 Opponents Defeated 10 Zones Captured
Simple and straightforward, the first step in Season of the Worthy’s Iron Banner quest is to get kills, capture zones, and earn 3 super kills. Destiny 2 players should be able to do the latter while working on the first two, so choose a Super that’s easy to net kills with. Completing this step rewards the Iron Remembrance class item.
Cast in Iron Step 2: Clear the Cylinders
6 Matches completed 20 Zones Captures 25 Hand Cannon Final Blows
One important thing to note as Destiny 2 players proceed through this quest is that these steps accumulate. In other words, matches completed in the last step, as well as the 10 zones capture, count toward these. In other words, Destiny 2 players should focus on the Hand Cannon final blows and allow the rest to fall into place. Completing this step rewards the Iron Remembrance gauntlets.
Cast in Iron Step 3: Heat the Barrels
100 Iron Banner Opponents Defeated 30 Zones Captured 30 SMG Final blows
Once again, everything should fall into line here with players continuing to simply focus on the new weapon. This time around, Destiny 2 players just need to earn Final Blows with SMGs. This step rewards the Iron Remembrance leg armor.
Cast in Iron Step 4: Harness the Elements
15 Super Kills 40 Zones Captured 15 Fusion Rifle Final Blows
Earning Super kills and Final Blows with fusion rifles is the next thing players should focus on; regardless of which rifle is chosen, Special Ammo Finder mods will make this step much easier. D2 players will be able to keep ammo this way and make it that much easier to complete this step. This unlocks the Iron Remembrance chest armor.
Cast in Iron Step 5: Sharpen The Arrows
10 Final Blows with Bows 15 Matches Completed 50 Zones Captured
As the rest continue to accumulate, players will need to focus on bows. A good tactic, as they need to be Final Blows, is to use a preferred gun and then quickly swap to the Bow. This will reward Destiny 2 players with the Iron Remembrance helmet and pave the way to the Point of the Stag final reward.
Cast in Iron Step 6: Polish the Armor
To finish off this Destiny 2 quest, players just need to talk to Lord Saladin and collect the final reward: Point of the Stag.
Destiny 2 is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
