One of the biggest reasons why people are up-in-arms about the Demon’s Souls remake is the greedy pre-order bonuses and DLC equipment that serve as nothing more than bait for some people to spend even more money on the title.
The worst part about this is that Demon’s Souls has PvP as well, meaning that people who pre-ordered the game or paid for the DLC would have an unfair advantage over other players as well, which is just ridiculous.

The fact that Demon’s Souls is the first-ever Souls game is something that is quite palpable from the very first second that people boot up the old game. However, playing Demon’s Souls is easier said than done. The launch of a new console generation implies that the system is going to be quite expensive and the games aren’t exactly going to be cheap either, given the fact that prices for games in the newest generation have been bumped up by $10 anyway.
So, the idea of paying $570 to experience a title that is just an old game with a fresh coat of paint may seem somewhat excessive, especially when the original title can be played for just a fraction of said cost.
